Have Thanksgiving night reservations to see Christmas Dreams at the Grand Palace.

Anybody seen it? Opinions?

Just reading the Palace's web site it's kinda hard to get a good feel for exactly what this show really is.

Ah! I saw that last Christmas with my wife and we were very dissapointed. The entire production was pointless. It just slowly jumped from one random thing to another and none of it was traditional Christmas. I wish I had my money and my time back from that one.

Who knows though. Maybe it's different this year (although I doubt it).

I wish the Rocketts would come back--now that was worth the price.

We were going to try it last year but the price was so high, dropped it considerably this year it looks like.

Thanks for the reply, guess we'll give it a try, so many of the other Christmas shows that we called and asked about for Thanksgiving night were already selling out, hate to pay 30.00+ dollars and sit on row 20.

I might seriously consider trying to find something else. I saw it too last year and really didn't like it.

There is a great Christmas show out at Shepherd of the Hills called Christmas on the Trail I think that it was new last year. The ticket price includes a wonderful chuckwagon dinner, a great show with cowboy christmas songs as well as traditional christmas songs, and the ticket price also includes a drive through Shepherd of the Hills Trail of Lights and a trip up their Inspiration Tower. I think that the ticket price is only $25 for all of those activities, but I'm not for sure. Their website is www.theshepherdofthehills.com. I would highly recommend this show to anybody who has the Christmas Spirit!!

There are plenty of great Christmas shows to see in Branson but Christmas dreams isn't one of them. I saw it last year with some friends in town during area appreciation and I'm glad I did because I would have never paid good money to sit through that! The people who sang weren't in tune, one of the main ladies had her dressed pretty much ripped in half, and I had no idea what was going on. I think a tree and a snowflake got married in the end. How is Christmasie is that?
