If that's the one that is down town Branson, DO NOT STAY THERE! The last time one of my friends stayed there, they had bugs, really bad!! But who knows it may have changed by now. It's been a while! I also stayed there on my honeymoon 28 years ago!!!

It's been a few years ago, so hopefully it has gotten better and cleaner. It is an old motel. But maybe it's not got the bugs!

I would suggest driving farther west on the Strip to find a motel or Sheperd of the Hills Expressway has a lot of nice reasonably price motels. You will be closer to the shows and other activities. Check out other Branson sites on the net for a list of motels. We have stayed at the Lyinna Inn for several years,it's home owned and close to several great places for a big breakfast. They do have donuts and coffee.

Another nice place is the Dutton Inn. We stayed there two years ago and really enjoyed it.

There's a lot of nice places to stay in Branson. I've stayed at the Duttons before and I'll be staying there in about three weeks! Also I've stayed at Twelve Oaks Inn, Settle Inn, Southern Oaks Inn. La Quinta Inn ( I love their mattresses) so comfy! I've stayed other places too. But those are my favorites.

I've been in the lobby before and it looks really nice. The Grand Victorian has a nice outside part too. It's a place with personality.

We agree with southwest Okie the shepeard of the hills expressway motels would be our choice. We stay at the motel6 on the expressway. Clean rooms and the owner josephine is a great person. very affordable . Very Happy

Right next door to the Motel 6, and catty-corner across the street from the Lynina Inn that southwest okie mentioned, is another good place to stay called Ozark Valley Inn. I've stayed there twice in one of their pet-designated rooms. If the other rooms are as nice and clean as the pet ones - which I expect they're even nicer - I can recommend this place without hesitation. The front desk and telephone staff have always been very friendly and helpful too. And the first time I stayed there, my god-daughter's little 2-year old threw up on the bed pretty late in the evening after we'd returned from SDC and were getting ready to go to bed. (I think it was from excitement... she was having fun!) Anyway, when the front desk was called for clean sheets, they were there in a jiffy and even though we were willing to change the bed linens, they insisted on doing it for us. They said it was no problem.

So my experiences at Ozark Valley Inn have been very good. They serve a basic continental breakfast in a room that has plenty of seating.
