Branson Trip 11/10-11/12

I took my Aunt for her 71st b-day. My mom and two cousins also went.

We got to Branson on Friday, I went first thing to 2 for 1 ticket outlet and got tickets for Kirby and also for Motown Experience. We ate a late lunch at McFarlands. I had requested the "round" table. I'm not giving out the secret to that table in case some of you don't know about it. What fun!!!

Friday night we saw the Haygoods, we all loved their show. Great talent those kids have! I saw them a long time ago at SDC. My how they have grown up!

Saturday morning we saw Motown, we really enjoyed their show. Thanks Steve for recommending it to us. Saturday afternoon we saw Kriby. What a great show. I can't wait to go back next year and see his regular show.

Saturday night we saw the Presleys. I've been friends with them a verylong time. I saw them the first time when I was maybe 12 or 13 years old. They are still my favorites (besides Tony )
We had supper at the Mexican place across from the Presleys. I never can remember the name of it. But I love the food.

Sunday we shopped a little then came home.

Deb, how often do you get to go to Branson? Lucky you. Very Happy

We are 4 hours away, so once or twice a year is it. Sad

It varies for me. Once I was lucky enough to go about 6 times one year. But I sometimes go for one night, two nights and sometimes three nights. But mostly two nighters. I don't get to go as aften as I used to. Now it's down to about 3 times a year. I'm lucky I'm only 2 and a half to 3 hours away. Depends on traffic. I'm ready to go back! Laughing

I forgot to tell this part of my trip. On the way up, I got pulled over by a cop just before Harrison. So beware people!
I only got a warning, thank goodness!! Applause

Well, he said I was speeding, but I wasn't. Shame on you

I was behind an 18 wheeler for a long time and you know those go pretty slow in those hills and curves. I finally got to a place that I could pass him and that must have been where the cop got me. He came out of nowhere. 18 wheelers will trigger the radar. I was told that by one of our local cops. I'm just glad I didn't get a ticket, that would have been a very expecive Branson trip. Thank goodness it was only a warning! Pray
