My mom and I went to Branson over Labor Day weekend. We saw Legends in Concert, Presleys and Broadway. We had a great time. I meet some friends from another board and we all had a great time. We even had some friends come from England. They are renewing their wedding vows. They have been married for 50 years! Isn't that great!!!
I really enjoyed our get together and all of the shows we saw.

We stayed at Victorian Palace. It was clean and the staff was great. The view was wonderful. If you stay in a room on the back side pf the motel. I will stay there again!

That is way too weird!! We were in branson and met some friends from England that were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary! We stayed at Mountain Music Inn, which is a couple of doors down from where you stayed!

That Gene Yaws sure does have a great voice!!!

We went to Hard Luck Diner too before we went to Broadway. We saw Legends in Concert and The Presleys on Saturday. Those are very good shows too.

Why didn't you two tell me you were going to be in Branson over Labor Day? If I'd have known I'd have looked you up because we were there too. And, we were at the Clarion on Sunday afternoon for an anniversary celebration too. We ate at Hard Luck Diner on Sunday before seeing the Broadway show that night. Maybe we were all there at the same time? I saw the funniest thing at Broadway. There was a lady sitting in front of us (dressed in red) that kept fanning herself whenever Gene Yaws was on stage (he looked and sounded good, as always). I thought this was funny as we thought the temperature in the theatre was perfect. Did either of you see her? Were either of you part of the "rowdy" crowd that was there?

We saw Branson Spotlight and Bart Rockett on Saturday. We thought both shows were very good. Hick, when did you see those shows?

We stayed at Spinning Wheel Inn which is on the same street as Mountain Music Inn and Victorian Palace!!

Where did you eat besides Hard Luck Diner? We ate at Grand Country, Danna's, Steak 'N, Shorty Small's, and Cracker Barrell. We also stopped at Deno's Fried Pies Saturday afternoon. I didn't have a fried pie but I did enjoy the diet dr. pepper they have on their fountain (along with crushed ice).

My daughter and her hubby were in Branson for their 5th wedding anniversary, it's weird, I just realized they were married on the same date as the couple that were having their 50th anniversary, Sept. 7th.
We met my daughter and son in law at Red Lobster for lunch on Saturday, it was a late lunch. But very good!
Saturday night mom and I ate at the Mexican restuarant (this needs spell check on it) across from the Presley's, I can never remember the name of it. It's GOOD though!

Oh me, were you sitting close to me, I had on a red shirt and yes I was fanning. This is really getting weird. There were some rowty people behind me too. They were making dog sounds. It was funny though, because the couple next to me would make a cat sound when they would do that behind us. Too funny!!!!

We all had a great time!

Shocked Hey WoW Ee WoW Confused We came all the way from England as well and were staying at the Clarion!! We walked into a big party in the Coffee lounge and it was crowded out with a right rowdy bunch!! (But nice with it!!) They must have taken a shine to us as they seemed to follow us to the Dard Luck Diner!! They even gathered all around us when the waiters sang to us! Embarassed And would you believe it! When we went to the Broadway show later on, the very same gang were behind us making a hell of a noise! Mr. Green Especialy this big sort of handsome guy in a purple shirt with 'Southern Illinois' across the front. He screamed down my ear all through the show!! Shame on you But I must say he was screaming in tune!! d'oh!
