Hello everyone! I'm Patty and I'm the moderator for this part of the Branson Forum. My part is to make sure things stay clean and orderly. Let's start off by asking those who have been to Branson, 'What is the best show you have seen?'

Stubs is the best! It doesnt matter what you see as long as you see Stubs in the Baldknobers. I laughed so hard by sides still hurt! He should do his own show so its nothing but him.

I guess that depends on what you like. Personally I have several talented favorites:

Wink Oak Ridge Boys (I grew up with them and even though they're older, they still got it!)
Shocked Lowe Family (how can one family have so much talent?!)
Smile Spirit of the Dance (fun to watch so many people Irish dancing)
Very Happy Yakov (great humor and great values--seems to be a good man with a great show)

Branson has dozens of shows to choose from but these were just some of my personal favorites.

That's a tough one. There are so many great shows in Branson. If we had to chose it would be a toss up between Dixie Stampede, Mickey Gilley (Joey Riley is a riot) and The Lowe Family. We love Pierce Arrow too, so I guess we couldn't just chose one that's the best. They all offer such wonderful entertainment.

My favorite show is Stuck on the 70's. I never really liked 70's music until I saw this show! They have a great band and a very energetic cast! Lost in the 50's is another really good show, they same band and cast are in the 50's as are in the 70's. Very Happy

Has anyone seen Country Tonight Show this year. We're going to Branson in September and heard that it was pretty good.

Very Happy We saw Andy Williams the last time we were in Branson, and he's still fabulous. Petula Clark was performing with him and it was a really classy show. I guess my favorite after that would be Mickey Gilley with Joey Riley. They are very good together.

Hello to everyone. My wife and I are going to Branson in October for our anniversary. And we have never been there before. You can get lost on the internet looking at all the shows that are available. Can anyone tell me about the following shows please: Shoji Tabuchi, The Duttons, Paul Harris, and Lost in the 50's. If you have any other suggestions we would greatly appreciate them.

Hi - you should see the Dixie Stampede. You get a wonderful dinner with it also. We are going to that show for the second time in about a week. Have a great time.

I have only seen two of these shows, Paul Harris and Lost in the 50's, they are both great shows!

Paul Harris is sooo funny, my stomach really hurt after I came out of the theatre because I laughed so hard!

Lost in the 50's is one of my favorite shows in Branson! They have a great band and a wonderful cast that is very energetic. I highly recommend both of these shows!

I hope you guys have a great time in Branson! Very Happy

Shoji has the classiest and most professional show in Branson, in my opinion. I would highly recommend it for anyone. I see it at least twice a year--once during the early season and again at Christmas time. He is awsome, as well as his dancers and cast.

Shoji has a lot of production and the coolest bathrooms you've ever seen but as far as pure talent he's average. He makes up for it with his hired held and level of production. The bathrooms are the best part--and they're free!

My wife likes 50's @ the Hop. I prefer Tony Roi's Elvis.

The strange thing there is I don't really even care much for the Real Elvis! We're both about 50 years old (for age guidance) We also both liked the Back to the 60's at the off-strip Palace and the Magnificent 7 at the White House.

Hello Michael. My family and I have been to Branson several times over the past 7 years and this is from my experience:

Shoji Tabuchi - good entertainment and a nice production. A little pricy but worth it.

Duttons - very talented siblings. The kids can play everything and they're so nice! They just need to take the parents out of the show.

Paul Harris - still a good show but not as good as when he was with Pierce Arrow. Doesn't do as much comedy as he used to.

Lost in the 50's - one of my personal favorites since it's from my era

I also recommend Yakov and Cirque which I just saw a week ago. Yakov has great comedy with a good message. Cirque is just amazing with the acrobatics that they do.

I thought I would start off by answering your Question:
What is the Best Show in Branson?

There are so many great shows in Branson.

But I think The Duttons have the Best Show.
It's the one show I continue to see every year.
Sometimes I see if several times in a year because I bring Guests with me.
When I want my Guests to have a really good experience in Branson, I bring them to see The Duttons.
No one has every been disappointed.

Well, the best show is Mickey Gilley.
He has the best band, and the best commedian, imho.
Along with his music being alittle bit for every taste, the show is beautiful, great set, and the lighting is really great, and the seats are comfortable.

I like the Oaks when they are here.
And, we have always enjoyed Andy Williams.

Some of the best shows arent there anymore......as Id like to list Mel Tillis and Charlie Pride....and we love Ray Stevens.........however this is his last year.

And, we are crazy about the Duttons,.......music and fudge......... Very Happy

And, when the OSMONDS return with shows........Branson will be back on track...... Razz Very Happy

I great had the pleasure of attending the Jim Reeves Tribute Show at the Nova Theatre last week. What a treat it was. I was impressed by the simplicity of the show - Mostly John Rex Reeves - Nephew of Jim Reeves sharing Gentleman Jim's songs and some of his own.

John Secord (singer) and Scott Reeves (storyteller) added a lot to the show.

I liked the second half of the show especially because John sits down and gives it to you with him and his guitar. Simple and true to the nature of world renown Gentleman Jim Reeves.

If you haven't seen the show, come on and Welcome to Their World and Make the World Go Away to a simpler time. My favorite song of the show was Adios Amigo, beautiful rendition.

One of my favorite shows is Acrobats of China... (Shanghi)... I was amazed at the talent. And half of them werent even 18 years old yet. They can do things that just seem impossible. We had 5 kids with us ages between 4-13 and it kept their attention the whole show!! Shocked [/b]
