Were coming down to Branson for Thanksgiving and I've never been there that time of year but I hear it's really busy. I have 3 kids plus my husband. Any recommendations for a reasonable place to stay? The kids are ages 11, 8, and 5.
Thanks!

Try The Savannah House. It's one of three motels/hotels that call themselves "Branson's Best". Get a break on the rate with a coupon or offer from the website. In my case, I called and made the reservation in advance for our family of five.

It's a very nice place, interior corridors, hot breakfast buffet, plus ice cream and cobbler every night about 9.

If you're on a budget you can get a double--you and your husband in one, two kids in the other and you can get a rollout for the third. We did that and stayed at the Comfort Inn on Gretna. It's only 2 or 3 years old and it's a nice place to stay for a good price.

Thanks for the recommendations. I have also heard about one that has a water park inside that is included with the stay. Anyone know what that is? Thanks again! Very Happy

The motel with the indoor water park is Grand Country Inn. Their website is www.grandcountry.com.

If you are interested in a condo, call this gentleman and see if he can find anything available for your vacation dates. His name is Allen. His voicemail number: 877/215-2777; his e-mail CondoMiracleMan@Enterprise-Group.net. Allen is associated with Fairfield Vacation Resorts (www.fairfieldresorts.com). There are no addtl taxes when you rent from Allen, so $69/night, for a two bdrm condo is all you pay; whereas for a motel room you pay something like 11% tax in addition to room charge. I know of several people who have used him to reserve a condo at Branson Fairfield Meadows and Mountain Vista resorts, and they have been completely satisfied with his services. I have stayed at both resorts, and both are very nice.

Thank you so much! Razz That was the one I was looking for! I think my kids will really like that. I'm going to call them right now and see if they have a room. Thanks for the info on the condo guy too. If the Grand Country doesn't work out I'll give that guy a call.
