No big grocery stores near the Fairfield Meadows but we do have Jubilee (the grocery store) and Wal-Mart (several isles of groceries) right in the middle of the strip. We also have Country Mart on Highway 248 next to K-mart.
For simple things like snacks, bottled water, soda, etc. I would probably just hit Wal-mart on your way there. They have the basic grocery items at a fraction of the cost. |

Your best bet for snacks, water, etc. would be WalMart as far as price. Jubilee has a really nice produce section. And your kids would love The Haygoods at Music City Center. A family of young men and one sister and it's a very fast paced, entertaining show. I know you daughter would love it! The boys are very nice looking and very personable.

If you want one of the best local places to eat off the strip you have to try Danna's BBQ house. They have the best BBQ pulled pork, beef, and chicken sandwiches you could dream of with a very reasonable price.
Danna's is located by the Fall Creek Inn down Highway 165 on your way to the Welk Theatre from the strip. If you're on the strip heading west you'll come to a stoplight with a big screen tv on the left corner. Turn left there and follow 165 down a few miles. Danna's will be on your right. Watch for the sign (it's kind of hard to notice with all the other signs). It's more than worth the 5 minute drive off the strip! |

they might also like Lost in the 50s. I have been taking my grandkids (ages 8-16) for the last 2 years & we are going again this July 27-31 & the 50s show & the Haygoods are 2 of their favorites & they want to go again. There is another show, 50s at the Hop, but it isnt as good as the Lost in the 50s.

Try Country Mart. We stayed for a week plus in a condo earlier this summer and bought all our groceries at Country Mart. Be sure to ask for a Country Mart card to get extra discounts on specials.

We've been locals for a long time and we eat at the ones in old downtown Branson like The Shack, Clockers, Branson Cafe and Farmhouse. It's like our meeting places for friends. Best food in town.
Grocery stores aren't too much of a variety here in town. Country Mart, Jubilee, Walmart BransonWest, Country Mart Hollister are what we have to choose from. Branson Walmart has a few items if you need something fast. Forsythe has a Save-A-Lot and Country Mart. If you like a nice little drive, Save-a-Lot has some very good prices on meat and other items. |

They're putting a Target in town where the Branson trail of lights used to be. That will be nice for those living over there.
