Well now that you mention it.... Paul Harris is through with Branson. He won't be back next year. Delene is also through with Branson and she's moving to Texas. (So the town says)

Brett Daniels is leaving the Grand Palace and Kirby will have his own show agian.

I heard about Mel Tellis too.

Oh, and Jim Owen is supposedly going out with Carol Lawrence.

YEP, I saw those two together, hum....he didn't waste any time did he? I saw them at Mickey Gilleys show together, BUT, who knows they could just be friends.

From another site I read that Ray is gone next year, but that is not news anymore. Lots of speculation about his theatre. Will see.

Also just read a few days ago that the Promise is back next year. Will replace Joseph at Manion America.

glad to see the Promise return, from what I read though it won't have the same Jesus in the cast.... (Randy Brooks?)

we saw it 2 or 3 times when it was in Branson before and there was always a full house, be interesting to see how it does this time around, when we saw Joseph wasn't more than 200 people there.

Paul Harris is one of those we always said... maybe next year, always something else wanted to try first, sounds like we waited to long now. wonder who will replace him at that theater?

It will be nice to have the promise back. To bad Randy isn't in it anymore. Will be intersting to see what's its like without him.

I love when the year starts coming to an end. Then begins "musical theaters" in Branson. Everyone seems to swap and when people like me come back into town in April, we can't find anything because everyone has moved! Part of the fun of Branson!

Sounds like Clay Cooper going to host country tonite in 2006 and still run his morning show .This is a much needed shot in the arm for country tonite

Apparently Paul Harris is going to Nashville. Ray Stevens and Mel Tillis are doing select dates next year but are not doing the full season.

Several contracts fell through on the Ray Stevens theater--I guess it's just too expensive and they're asking for way more than it's being appraised for. It's always fun to watch this time of year to see what happens. The game of musical theaters has just begun!

Anyone know any news about Ray Steven's old theater or Yakov's old theater? I just drove past both of them last week (as they are practically next to each other) and I still don't know what's going in there THIS year. Any clues anyone?

As far as I know Ray Stevens sold his theater. I don't know about the other theater.

I still don't know who/what is going into Ray Stevens but I found out this morning that that Beatles group that was going into the Caravel just back out last night. Caravel is quickly looking for a new night show.
