Hello to everyone. My wife and I are going to Branson in October for our anniversary. And we have never been there before. You can get lost on the internet looking at all the shows that are available. Can anyone tell me about the following shows please: Shoji Tabuchi, The Duttons, Paul Harris, and Lost in the 50's. If you have any other suggestions we would greatly appreciate them.

We have been going to Branson since the late 70's and have watched Branson "grow up". Your choice of shows is a good one. May I suggest seeing The Presleys. They have the greatest show with the greatest people. They are most all family and are the most sincere people. Great music and great comedy. Cecil is great. Shoji we saw again a couple weeks ago - he is great and a first timers must see but his show is becoming pricey for a family. We also saw the Duttons a couple weeks ago and they still have a great show - all family and very very talented. A very loving family. Paul Harris we saw in May and I would say a very funny show. Lost in the 50's we saw last year and it was also very good. If you need anymore info about Branson just e-mail us. Have a great trip!!

The Duttons are a very talented family. I do enjoy their show--especially the grandchildren--they are so cute! But if I had to pick my favorite family show, I'd have to go with the Lowes. They just have a level of energy and talent that blows me away! I love their music, their singing, and they are fabulous ballroom dancers. They are also so much fun to talk to! They always come out in the lobby after the show and mingle with the guests. They are all so nice but my favorite is Doug--he's the only boy and he's something else! Applause

The 14 year old drummer is the son of the band leader, Bobby Blackburn. The former drummer, Doug Huffman has left Pierce Arrow. Bobby's son was filling in for a while. I don't know if they have found another drummer or not yet.

Where did Doug Huffman go? I really liked him! Very Happy

Doug moved to the west coast where he is originally from to be closer to his father who is not in good health. Many of us miss Doug and I don't think the Pierce Arrow show is the same without him, but he wanted and needed to be with his dad.

With all due respect, the Doug Gabriel show isn't worth a dime. The only reason I went to see him was because of Roy Clark and now that he's gone, I won't be going back. I was bored out of my mind in the first half when it was Doug. The second half had Roy and then the place came alive! Roy Clark defintely knows how to entertain people. I'm glad some people do like Doug though because he is a nice guy--I just wouldn't want to watch him on stage again.

I don't blame him. Some day maybe he can come back to Branson. Maybe he will get on this board or the getaway and keep us posted on how he is. If you know him, tell him to come in sometime! I even have some of the Boston CD's that he played on!!!

The summer before last my husband and I went to Dixie Stampede and The Sons of the Pioneer dinner/music show and included in the ticket was The Shepard of the Hills. All was wonderful!!! We are coming back the first weekend in December to see the Dixie Stampede again. It is our favorite. We also love to go see Andy Williams.

You must be crazy. I say Doug Gabriel for the 1st time last week and I though the show was wonderful. I am not sure what bored you. It is very high energy. The music and band are great. I see a ton of shows, 40+ in 2005, and I would say his is one of the best in town. You do not survive in Branson since 1985 without being good.
