Hello to all! My husband and I are talking about coming back to Branson in mid to late February maybe early (like 1st week) of March. Is there anything going on? Any recommendations? We will be bringing our 2 boys - ages 7 & 3 - with us. We have never been to Branson during that time of year and since our son is going to have a couple days off school, we thought why not get away for 2 or 3 days?! Thanks in advance for your suggestions!!!

There will be a few shows and attractions open. You should be able to find plenty to do.

Show, IMAX, Shopping, Wax Museum and Ripley's, few mini golf and go-carts. Not like summer, but not a crowded either.

I suggest finding a hotel with an indoor heated pool. THat would be a real treat for the kids to swim in the winter.

I think Branson is becoming a year round tourist town. It seems like every winter is busier than the last. Several years ago it was pretty much dead in Jan and Feb and now it seems to have really picked up. That will be nice for everyone in town if it keeps picking up speed in the winter--keep people employed.

I was there last week. March 20-23. I know that lots of school were out for SB, but I was imporessed at how busy it was in Brason. I am hearing it is the best March ever. I even attended 3 show that had huge crowds. One sold out.

Were coming down in 2 weeks. We love Branson but they really need wider roads or more of them. I remember what last winter was like and if it just keeps getting busier, they need to expand those roads. We love Branson but we hate the roads. Wish they could do something to make country blvd move!

Any new shows this year we should know about? (Especially the good ones?)

Check out the Branson Brothers at Bart Rockets theater. It was good when I saw it in March.
